Vikki Valentine Vanderpool

Vikki has been a PGA Professional since 1998 and a golf instructor for almost 20 years. Her passion stems from learning to play the game at an early age. At 17, Vikki qualified for the LPGA Bank of Virginia Classic. She played college golf at the University of South Carolina and was all-SEC and all-Metro Conference, with 15 top-10 finishes. As an amateur, Vikki won the Virginia State Amateur Championship and competed in, among other events, two U.S. Junior Amateurs, two U.S. Women's Amateurs, a U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links and the North and South Amateur at Pinehurst. She also played on the Duramad(Futures) Women’s Professional Tour and posted a career-low round of 66. 

Since starting her PGA career in 1998, golf has taken her all over the country where she has worked at prestigious private clubs such as Wee Burn Country Club in Darien, CT and Siwanoy Country Club in Bronxville, NY along with top resorts like Pine Needles Golf Resort in Pinehurst, NC and Ford's Colony in Williamsburg, VA. She even was the Head Women’s Golf Coach at College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. 

After several years serving as the Director of Golf for the Tennessee Golf Foundation, she moved on to become the Director of Instruction for Golf Channel's SwingFix online lesson platform while also serving as the Vice President of Coaching for Athlete Nation. 

Since 2003, while working at the Tennessee Golf Foundation Vikki focused her work on junior golfers. In 2009, she was named the National PGA Junior Golf Leader, and many of her students have played golf on middle school, high school and college golf teams. Vikki, while in Tennessee, was also the Head Golf Coach for both boys and girls teams at the prestigious college prep school Brentwood Academy in Brentwood, TN. 

Vikki has a reputation in the golf business for player development with a list of other awards for teaching including GRAA 2016 top 50 Growth of the Game Teaching Professional, she is the 2009 National PGA Junior Golf Leader and one of the first US Kids Golf Top 50 Master Instructor.

Currently Vikki is volunteering with the Marc and Audrey Leishman and their Charity Event for the Begin Again Foundation and lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She also started her own podcast called #NewsAboutGolf
